How it Ends: Brief Remarks on Reading 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

This short essay reflects theologically upon aspects of the enigmatic passage 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 and contends that while certainly directed at assuaging eschatological anxieties Christian congregation to whom it is addressed, this not, as often suggested, uninterested in doctrine such. Rather, I argued precisely apocalyptic vision victorious eloquent epiphany Lord funds peace hope which Christians are called midst tumultuous times, orientation decisive for both faith theology.
